A Trade Space Prospectus for application to exhibit at the 2010 Royal Launceston Show, a Royal National Agricultural and Pastoral Society of Tasmania Limited (RNAPS) event, is now available.

The Royal Launceston Show traces its roots back to 1833. It is one of only six regional shows in the country with Royal charter, and has always been the premier show event in Northern Tasmania. We are proud of the history and achievement of the show and intend for that heritage to grow and prosper.

RNAPS has strong community, government and city council support and encouragement, but in order to ensure our prosperity, it has become necessary for the Society to reinvent itself. We are expanding our activities and increasing the other activities of the Society such as the hugely successful Launceston Esk Market and more recently reopened the Epping Forest Market.

In February our Board endorsed a new master plan for the showgrounds which has since been approved by the Launceston City Council Strategic Planning and Development Committee. Some works will be undertaken and completed prior to this years Royal Show, however, most will not commence before mid October.

The site layout has now been finalised and will include some changes to last year including the positioning of outdoor vendors onto Invermay Park as was the case in 2008.

The event depends on your involvement and we encourage your support and participation for 2010. With your prompt response to this application we can continue to finalise plans and organisation for the Show, all of which helps you.

If you require any additional information please contact the Society Office on (03) 63316044.

Yours sincerely
