It gives me great pleasure to invite you to be a part of the Australian Year of the Farmer celebrations at this year’s Royal Launceston Show. Our Royal Show will be appropriately themed to showcase the past and future contributions Australian farmers have made to the economy of our great nation.

Since early settlement they have provided communities with adequate food and fibre to ensure the sustainability and development of our wonderful country.

The 2012 Royal Launceston Show will be conducted at the Launceston Showgrounds from Thursday, 11 October until Saturday, 13 October commencing at 8.30am each day, closing at 5.00pm Thursday and Saturday and extending to 10.00pm Friday evening.

In addition to our traditional trade exhibit areas the entire Round House Pavilion is now available for commercial exhibits with sites available in various sizes. (Showbag vans have relocated to the Round House forecourt.)

Be a part of this wonderful event and celebration. Commit early to avoid disappointment.
